Membership

At Madison Baptist Church, meaningful membership is close to our heart. We aren't seeking to draw a crowd or put on an event. The Church is the body of Christ. We are called to belong to one another, and we exist as a result of God's promises to us and the promises we make to one another.

To join Madison Baptist Church, there are three steps:

  1. Attend the Starting Point membership class. At this class, you'll learn all about MBC and your place here. Usually this class happens in a group setting, but sometimes exceptions are made for it to be done one-on-one.
  2. Membership interview with a pastor. Membership interviews aren't a test or an examination. They're an opportunity for us to meet you and hear how God saved you and is working in your life.
  3. Presentation to the church. Once you have met with our pastors and they've heard your Christian testimony, you may be presented to the church for a vote. The congregation always votes to accept new members. It's our way of saying, "Yes, you belong to us and are part of our covenant community."

Teenaged children must attend the class as well.

This lets us know which class to put you in

Where are you a member currently, if at all. If unsure or not a member, put N/A.
